Westmont women’s basketball edges Wayland Baptist

Wesmont women’s basketball beat the visiting Wayland Baptist Flying Queens 60-56 on Friday afternoon in the Warriors’ final game of 2018.

Kaitlin Larson notched a double-double with a game-high 19 points and 10 rebounds for Westmont (9-4). Sydney Brown added 12 points and nine rebounds for the Warriors.

Deborah Vandijk led Wayland Baptist (10-2) with 13 points and nine rebounds.

Westmont plays its next game on Jan. 3 at home against Menlo.
