Man arrested for using fraudulent credit cards and reselling stolen items

A man is arrested for suspected credit card fraud in Paso Robles.

Police say, Christopher James Sprague, 34, is facing felony charges of credit card fraud, receiving stolen property and theft.

Police and Sheriff’s deputies arrived at Sprague’s residence where they said they found numerous items of merchandise bought fraudulently on the internet.

The items included: clothes, cologne, video games, movies, baby items, and hair conditioner. Police say all the items were purchased with fake credit card numbers and delivered to multiple locations.

Sprague is then accused of using an eBay account to resell the same items.

When police made the arrest Sprague was out on bail for similar charges from a 2015 fraud case.
