A Winter Music Showcase Benefit Concert
Dozens of local musicians with Santa Barbara Strings gathered Thursday afternoon in a home in San Roque, preparing for Saturday’s Winter Music Showcase Benefit Concert for the Grace Fisher Foundation.
The holiday musical event will feature the Santa Barbara Youth Symphony, the Santa Barbara Youth Music Academy, Santa Barbara Strings and San Marcos Highs School Madrigals, among others.
The audience will also enjoy original compositions by Fisher, who is living with Acute Flaccid Myelitis, a rare paralyzing disease.
Doors open at 4:00 p.m. for Saturday’s performance in the Santa Barbara High School auditorium. Tickets are $20.00.
