Police search for Ventura Autozone armed robbery suspect

Police are searching for the suspect involved in an armed robbery at a Ventura Autozone.

According to the Ventura Police Department, the robbery was reported just before 7:30 p.m. Sunday at the Autozone on the 2600 block of Main Street. The suspect was armed with a rifle and took cash from the register. The suspect then fled the business and headed westbound on Main Street. The Autozone employees were not hurt during the robbery.

It is unclear if this armed robbery is related to separate robbery that occurred at the same location on November 27, police said.
