Business and education leaders come together to support students in Santa Barbara County

Dozens of business and education leaders gathered Wednesday morning at the Earl Warren Showgrounds to celebrate the ongoing success of Santa Barbara County’s Partners in Education Program.

The four decade-long program has been instrumental in helping students at k-12 campuses learn computer skills and placing high school students in internship programs in local businesses.

Many then go on to college and meaningful careers. Some are especially lucky to find full-time jobs, locally, in their industry of choice.

Wednesday’s gathering was a celebratory breakfast thanking those who participate in the successful partnership.
