1st Annual Montecito ‘Light Up a Life’ ceremony postponed one week
Wednesday’s scheduled 1st Annual Montecito Light Up a Life Ceremony has been rescheduled for next week, Wednesday, December 12, because of rain.
The event begins at 4:00 pm, the ceremony starts at 4:30 pm.
The Holiday tradition centers on personalizing ornamental stars with the name of a loved one, that hang from a Christmas tree.
Hospice of Santa Barbara will record the names being honored and remembered into the Book of Life, which will be available in perpetuity online.
Stars are available online and will also be available at each ceremony for a suggested donation of $15 or more.
Proceeds benefit Hospice of Santa Barbara programs.
Event parking will be available at El Montecito Presbyterian Church, located at 1455 E. Valley Road.
