Space X Launch delayed for a third time, plans for Monday launch
LOMPOC, Calif. – The SpaceX launch that was planned for Sunday Dec. 2 is delayed for the third time.
Late last night Space X tweeted, “Standing down from tomorrow’s launch attempt of Spaceflight SSO-A: SmallSat Express to conduct additional inspections of the second stage. Working toward a backup launch opportunity on December 3”
A planned launch of a Falcon 9 rocket from Vandenberg Air Force Base was originally planned for November but was delayed twice.
When the Falcon 9 launches, it will carry a stack of satellites heading into sun-synchronous polar orbit.
The launch window tomorrow is from 10:30a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
