Emergency officials warn residents to stay on alert as heavy rain falls near burn areas
Santa Barbara County officials with the Office of Emergency Management issued a warning to residents living near creeks and streams below burn zones — Be on alert!
The National Weather Service says there is a potential for rapidly developing heavy showers and isolated thunderstorms over Santa Barbara County through 5 p.m. Thursday night.
Residents near creeks and streams below burn areas should be aware of their surroundings and take action to stay safe if necessary.
