Carpinteria’s PROCORE accelerates brand awareness with NASCAR racing team

The wheels have been in motion at a rapid pace for PROCORE, a Carpinteria-based construction software company in its strengthening relationship with a NASCAR racing team.

The owner of Leavine Family Racing (LFR), Bob Leavine is also a partner in WRL General Contractors which has a prominent logo on the LFR car. He uses PROCORE software for his building projects. Both the synergy and a new agreement has now given PROCORE a featured spot on the car as well.

Some races it is the primary sponsor with giant logos on the side panels and hood. Other times it is on the trunk. PROCORE is also displayed on helmets, fire suits, and pit box equipment.

Combined it has put a significant amount of horsepower into the company’s worldwide branding.

PROCORE’s Daryl Kysar says the connection has many similarities. “Teamwork, collaboration, and safety. There’s a lot of overlap with the two industries. Everybody has to be able to communicate and know what everybody is doing. Everybody needs to know what the schedule is and how things are moving and safety — having the documentation to keep the team safe, the driver safe, and it is the same thing with the workers on the job site as well.”

Achieving the highest standard of efficiencies on a project is a PROCORE commitment. “It really put us on another level being able to manage our products,” said Leavine.

This season the brand name was seen at all the major races, including the Auto Club 400 at the Auto Club Speedway in Fontana.

Earlier this year, in the garage area next to the #95 LFR car driven by Kasey Kayne, that is where Leavine and Kysar talked about the benefits of the relationship.

“It’s all about stepping your performance up. It is the same thing for Procore does. They are stepping their performance up with what they do,” said Leavine. “We are doing it on the construction side and we are following the lead on the racing side. Our company attitude (is) whatever it takes. That’s what we get from PROCORE,” said Leavine.

The other advantage of this collaboration is the TV and sponsorship exposure prominently displayed with large and small logos on the cars and gear depending on who is the primary sponsor for each race.

“For the company, I think it is an announcement for us as another Santa Barbara [Carpinteria] company that has gone national is and has become a name brand in the industry that it serves,” said Kysar.

PROCORE has hundreds of local employees at the rapidly growing company in Carpinteria and at other U.S. locations including San Diego, Portland, Austin, Alameda, and New York, with its cloud-based construction management software.

When it comes to construction or racing, two words seem to come together with this particular deal — speed and efficiency.
