Police investigating shooting in Lompoc that sent one person to hospital Thanksgiving Day

Lompoc police are investigating a shooting early Thanksgiving Day that sent one person to the hospital.

Officers were dispatched to the Lompoc hospital emergency room shortly after 12:15 a.m. Thursday after receiving a report of a shooting victim.

The victim suffered a non-life threatening injury, according to police.

Although investigators are still trying to piece together what and where it happened, they’re asking the community for any information that could help them in this ongoing shooting investigation.

There is no suspect(s) description at this time and the victim was not identified.
