Finally! Oxnard Football back in championship game

The wait is over, Oxnard High School will play in its first championship game since 1928.

The Yellowjackets play at top-seed South Hills on Saturday, November 24 in the CIF-SS Division 6 final.

Oxnard is 11-2 and is led by quarterback Vincent Walea, running back Xavier Harris and senior receiver JR Waters.

Senior defensive back Dom Brown and defensive lineman Gilbert Delatorre lead the way for a unit that has given up 7 or fewer points in seven games this year.

South Hills enters the game 13-0.
