Suspects spend $5,000 in purchases with stolen credit card in SLO County

Authorities in San Luis Obispo County are looking for two women suspected of stealing a credit card from a home in Arroyo Grande and tallying up $5,000 dollars worth of purchases.

The SLO County Sheriff’s Office says they received a report of a stolen credit card from a mailbox in Arroyo Grande on Oct. 16, 2018. The victim called the bank to report she had not received a replacement card and was informed by her bank that the card had already been activated and used at several locations.

Authorities say the stolen credit card was used at a Shell gas station in Atascadero, the Target store and Apple store in San Luis Obispo, Pac Sun, Perfumania, Coach, Zumiez, and Vans in the Pismo Beach Outlet center.

One suspect is described as a middle-aged White female, approximately 5-feet 4-inches tall, with long black hair, wearing dark blue jeans and a long-sleeved gray hooded sweatshirt with 2 black horizontal stripes on the sleeve.

The second suspect is described as a White female, 5-feet 7-inches tall, heavy-set, with blond hair, and wearing jeans and a gray sweatshirt.

The suspect vehicle is described as a newer model silver colored 4-door Cadillac.
