Overturned truck spills concrete, closes portion of U.S. 101 in Santa Barbara
Two traffic lanes of U.S. Highway 101 southbound near the Garden Street off-ramp in Santa Barbara closed Wednesday morning due to an overturned truck that spilled concrete.
California Highway Patrol says the truck overturned shortly after 9:30 a.m. Injuries are unknown.
Traffic is backed up to about La Cumbre Road exit. There is no estimate when this section of U.S. 101 will re-open. Motorists are advised to use alternate routes.
No further details were immediately known.
