Mental Health in Our Schools Community Forum held in Santa Barbara
Parents packed La Colina Junior High on Monday night to take part in a community forum about mental health in schools.
They heard some sobering facts from the Assistant Superintendent of Student Services.
Dr. Frann Wageneck talked about attempted suicide statistics.
She talked about the importance of social emotional learning.
Youthwell chair Rachel Steidl encouraged parents to pick up materials about services in case their children need help.
