Gamberdella hurt in Dons 44-12 win over Cabrillo

It looks like a costly win for the Santa Barbara High School football team.

The Dons defeated Cabrillo 44-12 but they lost quarterback Frankie Gamberdella when he injured his collarbone late in the first half.

The senior quarterback was scrambling and was tackled on the sidelines and stayed down for several minutes.

He was visibly upset as he was attended to on the bench before half.

The Dons improved to 2-2 in the Channel League and will play Dos Pueblos to finish the regular season on Thursday, October 25.
