Armed robber enters Ventura business and gets away with undisclosed amount of money

Ventura police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred Thursday evening in the 700 block of N. Ventura Avenue.

Authorities did not release the name of the business but say that at 7:27 p.m., the suspect, identified as a Hispanic male adult wearing dark clothing, entered, approached the employee at the counter, pulled out a gun and demanded money.

The suspect left before police arrived with an undisclosed amount of money. Officers were unable to locate the suspect.
