A Nipomo Business is at the Center of an Undercover Prostitution Operation

A Nipomo business is at the center of an undercover prostitution operation conducted by the San Luis Obispo Sheriff’s Department.

Detectives received tips that the employees at Apple Spa were performing sexual services for their customers. On Wednesday detectives were at the business and determined prostitution services were being offered.

No arrests were made but suspects have been identified including the owner of the business 67-year-old Dennis Delbono of San Luis Obispo, a 56-year-old female from Los Angeles, a 53-year-old female from Loma Linda, and a 55-year-old female from Banning.

Detectives are recommending charges of prostitution, supervising or aiding in prostitution, and running a house of prostitution to the District Attorney’s Office.

The case and investigation is open and ongoing.
