Woman steals $2,200 worth of merchandise from Deckers in Goleta

The Santa Barbara Sheriff’s Office needs your help in locating a woman who ran off with more than $2,000 worth of Deckers merchandise.

The woman allegedly walked into the Deckers Brand Showcase on the 6600 block of Hollister Avenue in Goleta around 12:45 p.m. and stole $2,200 worth of merchandise.

The Sheriff’s Office says the woman appeared to be shopping and then after about 6 minutes ran out of the store with an UGG coat, several pairs of women’s designer boots, and men’s designer shoes. The ‘Hal Patchwork Short Fur’ coat alone is worth $1,795.

Store employees say she was last seen running out of the store to the back parking lot and into a light blue, GM, long-bed truck with a logo on the side. Sheriff’s deputies searched the area but were unable to locate the truck.

The woman is described as a Caucasian in her fifties, with short blonde hair wearing jeans. She is approximately 5’6″ tall and about 130 pounds.
