Voters start getting their ballots and making key decisions
Voters throughout the state are getting their ballots this week and beginning to make some key decisions.
The mid-term elections have numerous campaigns and propositions, and also serve as a measuring stick on the political wellness of communities everywhere.
Local voters will be weighing in on the Governor’s race, U.S. House of Representatives, and many propositions including issues relating to the gasoline tax.
Depending on where you live there could be a vote for school board, water board or a city council seat.
The vote by mail ballot will arrive this week.
Elections workers are on hand in their office to issue you a ballot on the spot or make sure you are registered.
There’s also a convenient way to take care of your voter registration at the Department of Motor Vehicles while you are taking care of a drivers license or car registration issue.
