Missing Santa Barbara at-risk teen found safe

Santa Barbara police have confirmed that missing 14-year-old Atzyry Sugey Mendoza has been found safe and unharmed.

No further details were immediately known.

INITIAL INFORMATION

Santa Barbara Police need your help locating 14-year-old Atzyry Sugey Mendoza.

Police say Mendoza did not return home from San Marcos High School after classes. She was last seen wearing a gray sweater, a black and blue shirt, light blue pants, black shoes, and carrying a black backpack.

Mendoza lives on the west side of Santa Barbara and is considered at-risk due to her age and not having a history of running away.

Mendoza is a Hispanic female with a light-brown complexion. She is 5’02” tall, 130 pounds, with dark brown hair and brown eyes.
