Two teens hospitalized in Morro Bay stabbing
Two teens were sent to the hospital after an early morning stabbing in Morro Bay. Police later learned that an infant was also endangered during the assault.
Morro Bay Police responded to a possible stabbing in the 400 block of Atascadero Road around 5:45 a.m. Officers found a 19-year old male with numerous stab wounds to his chest, arms, and neck. Nearby the scene, officers also found a 19-year female victim reporting she was also stabbed during the assault.
Both teens were transported to an area hospital. The male underwent surgery for his injuries.
The female victim told officers that the suspect was possibly still at the scene, according to police.
Morro Bay Police officers and San Luis Obispo Sheriff’s deputies responded to the scene and arrested 19-year old Jesus Romansoroa from Morro Bay.
During the investigation, police learned that the female victim was in possession of an infant child during the assault. Police confirm that the child did not receive any injuries during the stabbing.
Police booked Romansoroa into the San Luis Obispo Jail on charges of attempted homicide, assault with a deadly weapon, corporal injury to a domestic partner, mayhem, and child endangerment.
