Authorities search for robbery suspects that struck Goleta 7-Eleven store

Authorities are searching for two robbery suspects that struck a 7-Eleven store in Goleta Monday night. They’re hoping the community can help police locate the two unknown individuals.

One suspect is described as a Hispanic male adult, 5-feet 5-inches tall, in his mid-20’s wearing a blue hat with a logo, black zip-up windbreaker, blue jeans and dark blue shoes.

The second suspect is described as a white male adult, approximately 5-feet 9-inches tall, also in his mid-20’s, wearing a black beanie with a hole in the center of the facial portion. He was wearing a gray, long sleeve zip-up sweater, dark jeans, light blue gloves, and black and white shoes.

The Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office said the two suspects entered the 7-Eleven located at 5342 Hollister Avenue at about 11:15 p.m. on Oct. 1, and demanded money from the employee. No weapons were seen.

Both suspects ran away after receiving an unknown amount of cash and were last seen running towards the Patterson and Hollister Avenue intersection, authorities said. Despite a search of the area, Sheriff’s deputies were unable to find the suspects.

Both individuals were seen loitering at the Shell gas station at the intersection of Walnut and Hollister Avenue before the robbery.

The Sheriff’s Office released photos captured from a business surveillance video camera and ask anyone that recognizes the suspects or has any information on their whereabouts or this case, call the Sheriff’s Office at 805-681-4100, the non-emergency number at 805-683-2724, or the anonymous tip line at 805-681-4171.
