Annual Big Game is Friday between Dons and Royals

Santa Barbara has dominated the past three football games with rival San Marcos, winning the annual Big Game by at least 37 points the past three years.

This Friday is the Channel League opener for both teams as they get together at Santa Barbara City College at 7pm.

Santa Barbara enters with a 3-2 record but have lost their past two games.

San Marcos is just 1-4 but won their last game, a 21-0 victory at Channel Islands on September 14.

Both schools have had two weeks to prepare for the Big Game.
