Dream Foundation hosts 4th Annual Endless Summer Dream event

A stunning estate in Summerland was transformed into a fashion runway for a good cause.

Dream Foundation hosted its 4th Annual ‘Endless Summer Dream’ event at the Nesbitt Estate on Sunday, September 16.

Hundreds of guests mingled on the property, taking in a poolside fashion show, live music, and entertainment.

The event raises money for the Santa Barbara-based Dream Foundation, which is the only national dream granting organization for terminally ill adults.

“We want to continue to fulfill as many dreams as we can,” said Kisa Heyer, CEO of Dream Foundation. “On average we serve about 2,800 a year.”

This year, the Dream Foundation served out its 30,000th dream, which is a new milestone for the foundation.

“I’ve seen the good work they do in the community and throughout the nation,” said Daryl Stegall, who is on Dream Foundation Board of Directors. “It’s so important to honor people at the end of life … and help their dreams come true not only for them but for the ones they leave behind.”

The Endless Summer Dream event raised more than $300,000 for Dream Foundation.
