SBCC Football falls to Citrus, drops third straight game

Santa Barbara City College dropped its third straight game Saturday afternoon, losing 34-13 to the visiting Citrus Owls.

The Vaqueros (1-3) were unable to stop the Owls’ ground attack, which gained 304 yards and scored three rushing touchdowns. Both James Brown and Justyn Alexander eclipsed 100 yards on the ground and found the end zone for Citrus (3-1).

Santa Barbara managed only 145 total yards on the afternoon. The Vaqueros will look to bounce back when they play at Antelope Valley next Saturday night.
