Los Angeles Rams player arrested for DUI in Simi Valley

An NFL player for the Los Angeles Rams was arrested in Simi Valley for DUI Sunday.

According to the Simi Valley Police Department, multiple calls were made at 6:30 p.m. Sunday regarding a subject driving erratically after crashing into a bus stop sign, mailboxes and trash cans in the area of Royal Avenue and Sinaloa Road. The vehicle did not stop after the collisions prompting even more calls to police dispatch.

Officers pulled over the driver, 25-year-old Aaron Neary on El Monte Drive near El Lado Drive. Neary provided a breath sample and blew a 0.17% BAC, which is more than double the legal limit of .08%, police said.

Neary, who plays for the Los Angeles Rams, was arrested and booked at the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office, East County Jail for DUI, DUI with a Blood Alcohol Level over .08%, and Hit & Run with property damage.
