Soracco and Sofro honored at Santa Barbara Athletic Round Table
San Marcos High School girls volleyball player Brynn Sofro and Bishop Diego football player Adrian Soracco were named Female and Male Athlete of the Week at the Santa Barbara Athletic Round Table.
Sofro had 13 kills in a four-set win over Dos Pueblos and she was named to the All-Tournament team at the Royal Tournament in which San Marcos advanced to the finals.
Soracco rushed for 108 yards with two touchdowns in Bishop Diego’s 28-14 road victory against Golden Valley.
Soracco also recovered a fumble in the fourth quarter as the Cardinals improved to 3-2.
