Bill Pintard talks about record-breaking NBC World Series crown

Bill Pintard is back in Santa Barbara and the manager is flashing a championship smile again.

The Santa Barbara Foresters won a record-breaking seventh National Baseball Congress World Series title in Wichita, Kansas. The ‘Sters beat the NJCAA National Team 6-5 last Saturday.

The win moves the Foresters past Fairbanks, Alaska for most championships in the 84-year old history of the NBC Tournament.

The Foresters won their first 15 games of the summer and never slowed down as they finish with a 39-8 record.
