Foresters are lighting up the scoreboard at NBC World Series

Two games, 38 runs!

The Santa Barbara Foresters are filling up the scorebook with unbelievable offensive numbers at the National Baseball Congress World Series.

After winning their first game 18-5, Santa Barbara came back and beat the Dodge City A’s 20-12 in the highest-scoring single game ever at the NBC World Series.

Both of the games did not even go 9 innings because of the 8-run rule.

Santa Barbara is all but certain to advance to Thursday’s quarterfinals but they do play the Seattle Studs on Tuesday at pool play wraps up.
