Teenager shot in leg in Oxnard
A teenager is recovering after he was shot in the leg in Oxnard Tuesday night.
According to the Oxnard Police Department, officers responded to the 3500 block of Madera Place at 10:16 p.m. Tuesday for a 16-year-old male who had been shot in the leg. The gunshot wound was considered non-life threatening.
The victim was taken to the Ventura County Medical Center and was listed in stable condition, police said.
