Horticulture and floriculture entrees to be judged at Ventura County Fair

The County Fair with the Ocean Air includes a floriculture and horticulture competition.

People grew plants all year with the fair in mind.

They were glad they didn’t have to drop off their entrees during the recent heat wave.

There was a cool breeze at the Ventura County Fairgrounds on Sunday when gardening enthusiasts entered all kinds of plants.

The entrees will be judged and awarded ribbons before the fair opens on Wednesday.
