Art-Life magazine founder remembered

Artists gathered to celebrate the life of Joe Cardella on Saturday at the Avant Garden in Ventura.

Cardella lived a life of art.

He published Art-Life Magazine and helped form the Ventura Artist Union.

He died in May following a cancer diagnosis.

Cardella would have turned 73 in July.
