DPLL Junior All-Stars shining bright this summer

The boys of summer are having a blast winning baseball tournaments.

The Dos Pueblos Little League Junior All-Stars are one of just ten teams that have advanced to the Southern California State Tournament in Thousand Oaks.

DPLL won their opener of this double-elimination tournament earlier this week and will face a team from Manhattan Beach on Saturday. The winner of this tournament will advance to the Western Region Tournament in San Jose.

The DPLL Junior All-Stars is a 14-member team that consist mainly of boys that will enter Dos Pueblos High School in the fall as ninth graders. There are three players that will be going in the eighth grade.

This summer they have already won a district and a section championship.
