Lompoc police searching for man accused of using another person’s identity to buy car

Police are searching for a man accused of using another person’s identity to buy a car in Lompoc, according to police.

It happened on Monday when a man bought a white, 2018 Toyota Tundra for $69,000 at Toyota of Lompoc, police said.

Police have identified the suspect as Cameron Jacob Walden of Bakersfield.

Walden was later caught on surveillance camera stealing items from the Kohl’s in Santa Maria with his girlfriend, police said.

Walden is on probation for possession of stolen property, police said.
