The driver of a vehicle that drove into a Cajun Kitchen restaurant in Ventura Monday afternoon is in the hospital.
Ventura Fire responded to a report of a vehicle into an occupied restaurant on the 300 block of East Main Street around 1:09 p.m. Upon arrival, firefighters quickly assessed the stability of the building and also found 4 injured victims.
The driver of the vehicle was transported to an area hospital. The three other victims that were inside the restaurant at the time of the crash declined medical transportation.
No firefighters were injured in this case.
