Authorities believe a newly discovered shoe is connected to missing Nancy Woodrum case

— UPDATE 5 —

The San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office says due to the public’s help the owner the shoe found on La Panza Road has been in contact with Sheriff’s Office Detectives.

— UPDATE 4 —

Investigators have located a shoe that they believe is connected to this missing persons case. Sheriff investigators released a photo of a brown leather slip on loafer type shoe with decorative tassel on top.

The shoe was found in the 4000 block of La Panza Road the same day Woodrum was reported missing.

Detectives are asking the public to help identify the shoe’s owner or share any other information that may lead to finding Nancy.

Authorities in San Luis Obispo County have located the potential witness they had been searching for in connection with the disappearance of 62-year-old Nancy Colleen Woodrum.

This individual is not a suspect, authorities say.

SLO County Sheriff’s Office detectives continue their investigation into Woodrum’s disappearance. Anyone with any information regarding this case is asked to call the Sheriff’s Detective Division at 805-781-4500.

The San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office is asking the community for information regarding a potential witness in the disappearance of 62-year-old Nancy Colleen Woodrum.

The man authorities are looking for is described as a white adult male in his middle to late 50’s. He was last seen on Sunday, May 6, 2018, in the El Pharo Drive area riding an orange and chrome Harley-Davidson Sportster. The Sheriff’s Office says this person is not a suspect.

Anyone with information regarding this potential witness or case is asked to call the Sheriff’s Office Detective Division at 805-781-4500.

Woodrum was reported missing from her home in rural Paso Robles by family members on May 5, 2018, and was last seen by neighbors on the afternoon of May 4.

Sheriff’s Detectives are asking those residents who live in the areas of Geneseo Road and La Panza Road who may have video footage from anytime last Friday night, May 4, 2018, through Saturday morning, May 5, 2018, to contact the Sheriff’s Office.

The search continues for 62-year-old Nancy Woodrum who was reported missing on May 5 by family members after they checked her home and could not find her. She was last seen by neighbors on the afternoon of May 4.

Possible sources of the video footage may be a home surveillance system or game cameras. If you are a resident of those areas and you have video footage please contact the Sheriff’s Office Detective Division at 805-781-4500.

The San Luis Obispo Sheriff’s Office is searching for Nancy Woodrum from Paso Robles who was reported missing Saturday afternoon.

Woodrum was last seen by neighbors on the 5800 block of El Pharo Drive in rural Paso Robles around 3:15 p.m. She is described as a 62-year old white female, 5’8″ tall, 145 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.

The family reported her missing Saturday morning after they check her residence and finding she was not there.

The Sheriff’s Office Search and Rescue Team began their search Sunday morning with a K9 unit. A helicopter crew is also assisting in the search.

As of Monday, May 7, Woodrum is still missing.
