Santa Barbara Fair and Expo is “Out of this World”

The Santa Barbara Fair and Expo has arrived at a galaxy near you and will be here from April 25 to 29 at the Earl Warren Showgrounds.

The theme this year is “Out of this World.” The fair offers more than 30 rides that twist, twirl, whip, and hurl and are fun for all ages.

A new ride this year is The Turbo! Towering over 130 feet in the air and revolves at a speed that gives riders a 3.5 G experience.

Rollercoasters not your thing? Children can check out the petting zoo and get a ride on a real pony and see exotic animals. Don’t miss the All Alaskan “Warp Speed” Racing Pigs as they run around the track and jump hurdles.

Don’t forget to check out the Close Encounters Hall in the Exhibit Building for interactive displays. Attendees can try local foods, wine & beer, arts & crafts, horticulture, and fine art displays.
