Pismo State Beach North Beach Campground closed due to storm

Officials with the California State Parks Oceano Dunes District have closed Pismo State Beach North Beach Campground due to the current storm.

The campground flooded in the storm. It will remain closed until the area is safe for visitors and park operations can be restored to normal.

Officials say the Oceano Dunes State Vehicular Recreation area may also be closed at times due to the storm.

Additional safety precautions will be implemented by officials due to the active water flow at Arroyo Grande Creek.
