Scouting Poly-Riverside ahead of CIF title game vs San Marcos

San Marcos can’t let their guard down against the Poly-Riverside guards.

The Bears feature two star players in the backcourt in sophomore Lamont Butler and senior Tobin Kund.

Butler has several division one scholarship offers including UC Santa Barbara.

Kung set a school-record earlier this season by making 11 three-pointers in one game.

The Bears are ranked No. 52 in the State by Maxpreps.com and are 24-7 on the year.

San Marcos enters ranked No. 38 in the rankings and are 25-5 including 15 wins in a row.

The CIF Division 2A final is Saturday at 4pm at Azusa Pacific University.
