3.5 magnitude earthquake reported near Lompoc
A 3.5 magnitude earthquake struck off the coast of Lompoc Thursday evening.
The quake was reported at around 7:45 p.m. about 20 miles southwest of Lompoc.
The earthquake struck less than one kilometer below the ocean floor.
No injuries or damage have been reported.
