Santa Barbara coffee shop celebrates 42 years in business
A popular Santa Barbara coffee shop marked a major milestone on Saturday.
Vices and Spices on upper State Street is celebrating 42 years in business.
The unique store sells gourmet coffee, specialty teas, candy, jewelry and exotic gifts from around the world.
The shop is also, of course, well known for its high quality spices.
Owner Blue Booth says he owes his success to his longstanding customers and the community.
“Our customers, they keep coming back and we keep selling quality products and people appreciate that and we are still going after 42 years,” Booth said.
According to register receipts, Vices and Spices has sold more than a million cups of coffee.
