Woman sentenced for sparking SLO county fires
A 58-year-old woman will spend over two years in prison for intentionally sparking various fires on Nacimiento Lake Drive in San Luis Obispo County in the summer of 2016.
Debra Collins was sentenced to two years and eight months in state prison after appearing in San Luis Obispo County Superior Court on Monday.
Earlier in March, Collins pled no contest to arson of structure or forest and possession of flammable material.
As part of her sentence, Collins is required to register as an arson offender for the rest of her life.
