Feel-good campaign celebrates three Ventura moms
Dude, be nice — it’s Mother’s Day weekend!
A grass-roots, feel-good community campaign celebrating three mothers at three iconic locations in Ventura last month, is now catching momentum, just in time for Mother’s Day.
The trio of surprise serenades was part of a campaign by the Ventura Visitors & Convention Bureau (VVCB) and the dude. be nice, a clothing company that connects people through styles and stories.
Lisa, Kathy and Alice were unknowingly selected, then tracked down and serenaded by hundreds of strangers.
In a press release, the organizers stated that Visit Ventura and dude. be nice would like to thank Ventura Beach Marriott, Rubicon Theater, Island Packers, and Betty Belts for their contributions.
