Spirit and Junior Spirit of Fiesta crowned in Santa Barbara
Santa Barbara tradition continued Saturday as Old Spanish Days announced its 2017 Spirit and Junior Spirit of Fiesta.
La Cumbre Junior High School was packed with people as Norma Escarcega was crowned the 2017 Spirit.
10-year old Hope Elementary student Eve Flores also won the title of Junior Spirit of Fiesta.
Traditionally, the Spirit leads El Desfile Histórico while the Junior Spirit leads the children’s parade.
Together they will perform at a number of events from now until Fiesta.
