Police in Oxnard locate carjacking suspect

Police in Oxnard make an arrest in a carjacking that happened back on March 21st.

The Oxnard Police Department made the arrest Friday after executing a search warrant at a home in the 1000 block of Isleton Place.
It all started Tuesday when police responded to the same block regarding a carjacking that had just happened. The victim told police two teens, a girl and a boy, armed with a knife threatened the victim and then took the victim’s vehicle. Police located the abandoned vehicle a short distance away.

Investigators from the Oxnard Police Department Violent Crimes Unit said they were able to identify the female suspect as a 16-year-old from Oxnard. Investigators are still working to identify the male suspect.
