Trash truck erupts in flames on Coast Village Road
A Marborg trash truck caught fire on Coast Village Road in Santa Barbara Friday morning.
Flames engulfing the truck and sending a large amount of smoke into the air.
Fire crews from the city of Santa Barbara and the Montecito Fire Protection District have responded to the fire. It’s not clear how it started or if any nearby buildings or vehicles were damaged.
The fire started around 8:15 a.m. and crews had water on the flames within minutes.
There are no reports of injuries.
