Cecchetti Road open in San Luis Obispo County

UPDATE:

Monday afternoon, San Luis Obispo County Public Works announced Cecchetti Road, at low water crossing,is now open.

The road was affected by the recent rain storm.

ORIGINAL STORY:

California Highway Patrol in San Luis Obispo County is reporting flooding, road closures, and downed trees.

CHP is reporting the slick roads have at least one driver wrecked on SR-46 east near Whitley Gardens. A red Dodge Durango spun out and hit an embankment, but is not blocking any lanes of traffic.

The Templeton area has reports of flooding on the southbound ramp at South Spring Spring Street in Paso Robles, and flooded roadways at Salinas Avenue and Florence Street.

Templeton CHP has reports of a tree down blocking lanes at 1270 Santa Rita Road and a report of a second tree down on Santa Rita Road. This tree is partially blocking the road. County Roads has been notified.

CHP has reported a road closure in Avila Beach at Avila Beach Drive and Ontario Road

And in Santa Maria CHP is reporting a tree down blocking both lanes of Foxen Canyon Road at Tepusquet Road.

And, in Guadalupe there is a tree down on Pioneer and West Main Streets.

As of 9:12 a.m. Friday CHP is reporting roadway flooding on Highway U-S 101 at S-R 154 off ramp in Buellton

As of 9:36 a.m. Friday CHP is reporting roadway flooding on Buckley Road at Vachell Lane in San Luis Obispo.

And, a two foot boulder is blocking east bound lanes on S-R 154 and Lakeview near Lake Cachuma.

Arroyo Grande creek is over flowing and onto the roadway at Cecchetti Road at Lopez Drive.

As of 11:35 Mudslide in the north bound lane of S. Thomson Ave and S-R 166.
