Moxi museum opens in Santa Barbara

Locals and tourists now have a new museum to visit and it may just inspire the next generation of engineers and inventors.

It is called Moxi, The Wolf Museum of Exploration + Innovation. It is named after benefactors Dick and Noelle Wolf.

Dick Wolf is a producer and Law and Order star, Noelle Wolf sits on the museum board.

The Moxi museum is located on lower State Street between the train station and the beach.

General admission is $14 for teens and adults, and $10 for younger children. Infants are free.

Moxi also offers family memberships for $130.

Members are admitted for free and invited during early openings and special events.

The museum is also in the midst of a fundraising campaign.
