Dons girls basketball race by Dos Pueblos 65-44

Junior Alondra Jimenez’ return overshadowed Senior Night for the Santa Barbara High School girls basketball team.

Playing in her first game of the season due to a knee injury, Jimenez sank her first shot of the year, a three-pointer, and went on to score 11 points as the Dons whipped Dos Pueblos 65-44.

Jimenez had several terrific passes as well setting up teammates for open jumpers and layups.

Kristen Sullivan had a game-high 26 points while Cassandra Gordon added 18.

Santa Barbara honored six seniors.
