Gauchos lose Vincent and another game as nightmare season gets worse
By halftime UCSB junior Gabe Vincent was on crutches and the Gauchos were down double digits.
Vincent hurt his leg late in the first half trying to block a shot by Cal State Fullerton. He will have x-rays on Friday and has already been ruled out of Saturday’s game against UC Davis.
UCSB was also left hurting by the Titans who rolled to an easy 79-53 win. The Gauchos have been held under 58 points in their last four contests.
The Gauchos had another bad night shooting the basketball as they made just 35.2 percent from the floor as they fell to 3-17 on the season. The are a Big West worst 1-7.
